HISTORY
In 1891, Jerusalem Baptist Church was established, located in the heart of Saint Gabriel, Louisiana. In 1976, a new building was constructed and named New Jerusalem Baptist Church. The New Jerusalem Baptist Church stands as a beacon of faith and community. The church’s striking architecture, with its towering steeple reaching towards the sky, is a familiar sight for both locals and visitors alike. Stepping inside, one is greeted by the warm embrace of a tight-knit congregation, united in their shared beliefs and values. The sound of hymns fills the air, accompanied by heartfelt prayers that resonate throughout the sanctuary.
In 1994, New Jerusalem Baptist Church was renamed New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church. New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church is more than just a place of worship; with a rich history and commitment to serving the community, it is a spiritual home for all who seek solace and connection.
